Renata grew up around Kiama and Jamberoo moving to Sydney for 10 years where she completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Honours, and a Law Degree at Sydney University. Renata was admitted in December 2008 and returned to the Illawarra with her children.
Prior to practicing in law, Renata worked in social and community based work and spent considerable time working with Chinese and Indonesian ethnic community organisations in the promotion of multiculturalism. After graduating from law, Renata was selected for a graduate internship with the Attorney General Department and then entered private practice working in a range of areas including Criminal law, Family law, Civil Litigation and Care and Protection. Renata joined Hansons in December 2010 and has focused her interest in Criminal and Family Law.
